Weekend vintage haul

I’ve been trying to purge and as a result have not been doing much in the way of vintage hunting. We decided to make an exception yesterday and cruise a favorite haunt, Jackson Square Antique Mall in La Grange. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone there and said, “I don’t need anything. I’ll just grab a coffee and enjoy browsing.”
Which never happens. Ever.
That fox was love at first sight. Even better, I bought it from my friend Dana’s booth. She’s about to have her first baby. Good stuff all around. Also, I’m positive that it is illegal to pass on a dapper fox who wears scissors for glasses and sucks on baker’s twine. He’s just there to help.

The copper 3 bears coin bank is perfect for our vintage camper, done in an old summer camp vibe. The tablecloth and restaurant-ware creamer are right in line with our 1927 bungalow kitchen. Dave loved the vintage cookie cutters because they look like the ones his mom used. And I had to grab the mini Swingline because I had one just like it when I was a young girl and we all know I’m obsessed with office supplies.
Impulse control: FAIL. Cute haul score: WIN.
