I’ve known Alma, the author, since I first moved to Chicago about 13 years ago. We worked at a local alternative publication together back then, and I knew she was destined for great success. I admire how she is a student of her family, faith, creativity and career. I learn something new every time I read her blog. I’ve read articles that make me a braver parent and give more self-confidence to my children, and plenty of stories about how we always have to be able to laugh at ourselves.
Alma is quite active in social media marketing, so if you’re a working mom in the design/advertising/marketing industry, I think you’ll find her a kindred spirit.
